Pfizer (NYSE: PFE) on Wednesday announced that a Phase 3 study evaluating its gene therapy targeting the bleeding disorder hemophilia A has achieved its primary objective. This follows the company earlier this year receiving its U.S. approval in gene therapy, an area of medicine where the company has invested heavily in North Carolina in recent years.
