Local man organizes search for missing man

German Guillermo Lima of Kernersville felt compelled to do something when a longtime friend, Thomas “TK” Burton Jr., went missing.

“We have friends in Kernersville. When I got in touch with some of them, they said they hadn’t heard from him. Usually, he’s always around and he’s always contacting us. I stepped up when I saw nothing physical was really being done. I thought it wouldn’t hurt to round up his friends and look for him. A lot of the community has stepped up,” he said.
