Coach Dearius Bush described Smith as more than just a player, calling him like a son and highlighting his significant presence on and off the court. Smith was attending an AAU basketball tournament in York, Pennsylvania, when the incident occurred. Initially, Coach Bush hoped Smith had only minor injuries, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Pennsylvania police report that the driver, who stayed at the scene, is awaiting a blood alcohol content test. The local community is rallying to support Smith's family.

(July 18, 2024 – York, Pa.): The York Revolution and High Point Rockers played a marathon afternoon of baseball on Camp Day at WellSpan Park, with York taking game one in extras, 2-1 on a walk off infield single from Colton Welker in the bottom of the 11th for the Revs’ seventh consecutive win. Game two was a different story, as York could not rebound from High Point’s big first inning and fell short of the sweep in a 7-3 decision.

Regardless of the season, the Lebanon Valley College men’s lacrosse team seeks opportunities to give back. The program recognizes that it has a platform to make a difference in the community and makes a strong effort to help others through volunteerism during the year.
