I-83 Bridge Demolition to Cause Weekend Road Closure in Harrisburg, PennDOT Advises
Heads up, Harrisburg commuters: PennDOT has announced that a section of I-83 will be closing for bridge demolition this weekend. According to PennDOT, beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, there will be lane restrictions on Interstate 83 from Exit 44B at 19th Street to Exit 45 near Paxton Street. Then, starting 11:00 p.m., there's going to be a full shutdown in both directions.
