Police arrested a man with hamsters inside the leopard-print onesie he was wearing in Hilliard, Ohio, on Tuesday, July 9.

Matthew Pancake was charged after allegedly breaking into numerous stores, including a pet store.

Columbus Police said they responded to the break-ins and observed the suspect on surveillance video.

Bodycam footage showed officers finding Pancake sleeping on a bench before handcuffing him. As the officers searched Pancake, they found shards of glass in his onesie and a dog collar on him.

The officers then also found hamsters, originally mistaken for gerbils, in his pants. One police officer is heard saying, “multiple gerbils.” Another responds, saying “What the heck?”
