Joint venture partners Dostart Development Company, LLC and Sares Regis Group of Northern California recently secured two new leases at the newly completed 220 Park development in downtown Burlingame. A suspect has been arrested after pushing a 74-year-old woman into the path of a San Francisco train, causing her death. Trevor Belmont, 49, who is also known as Hoak Taing, was arrested on suspicion of pushing Corazon Dandan, 74, of San Mateo County, into a Millbrae-bound train at Powell Street station. Belmont is believed to be homeless, according to authorities.
South San Francisco Police Arrest Two on Firearms and Drug Charges During Early Morning Operation
Last Saturday, the South San Francisco Police Department conducted an operation that led to the arrest of two individuals on multiple charges, including possession of a controlled substance and a stolen firearm. According to a statement on the department's official social media page, Officer Swann, part of the Field Training Program, initiated the investigation after spotting a suspicious vehicle and its occupants at a local business on the 300 block of East Grand Avenue. Law enforcement later approached the suspects in a neighborhood at Arroyo Drive and Camaritas Avenue.

Bay Area firefighters injured in crash while responding to Thompson Fire in Butte County
OROVILLE – Cal Fire firefighters from the Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit responding to the Thompson Fire in the Oroville area were injured in a crash Wednesday morning, officials said. The California Highway Patrol responded to the area of Aguas Frias Road north of Richvale Highway around 7:30 a.m. where they found a Cal Fire engine overturned. Three firefighters were able to get out of the vehicle. The CHP said injured firefighters were taken to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries. KHSL-TV, a CBS affiliate, reported two firefighters were injured.The Cal Fire Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit confirmed it was one of its engines responding to the Thompson Fire. The firefighters are expected to be OK and the CHP is investigating what led up to the crash. As of Wednesday at noon, the Thompson Fire had burned just over 3,500 acres with no containment. Four firefighters have been injured and thousands of people have been forced to evacuate.

Antioch, where temperatures are expected to top 110 degrees, canceled its Fourth of July parade due to an excessive heat warning, Antioch police said.

Heat Warning Extended Until Next Tuesday as Temperature Records Get Broken
Temperature records were broken across the Bay Area yesterday as the excessive heat warning continues. Santa Rosa topped out at 105 degrees on Tuesday which was a record for the date of July 2nd. Records were also set in San Rafael at 103 degrees, Kentfield at 103, and Oakland at 90. On top of that, the heat warning for most of Northern California has now been extended until next Tuesday at 11 PM. Most of Sonoma County should expect several more days in the triple digits and high 90’s.
