Motorcylist Killed Monday Evening When Bike Crashes Into Guard Rail On Hwy 1
A motorcyclist was killed earlier this week when they rammed into a guard rail in Half Moon Bay, according to the California Highway Patrol. At about 7:30 p.m. Monday, the motorcyclist was traveling south on state Highway 1 near Bayhill Road when they failed to negotiate a curve and hit a guard rail. The rider was ejected and sustained fatal injuries, CHP said.
Man dies amid heat wave in San Jose
A man in San Jose died amid a heat wave in the Bay Area, Mayor Matt Mahan and police said on Wednesday. San Jose police told NBC Bay Area that just before 8 p.m. Tuesday, they responded to a report of a man who was found dead. They added that there were no signs of foul play.

A suspect has been arrested after pushing a 74-year-old woman into the path of a San Francisco train, causing her death. Trevor Belmont, 49, who is also known as Hoak Taing, was arrested on suspicion of pushing Corazon Dandan, 74, of San Mateo County, into a Millbrae-bound train at Powell Street station. Belmont is believed to be homeless, according to authorities.
