Trial for Sheridan Man Charged with Aggravated Assault and Battery Remains Scheduled for Next Month
A pretrial conference for Brice Graves of Sheridan was held this past Thursday in Fourth Judicial District Court. Graves is scheduled to go to trial on August 19 for the charge of aggravated assault and battery. Public Defender Anna Malmberg said at the hearing that the State did submit an offer for a plea agreement, but that her client (Graves) still had some questions and issues that he wanted to discuss with her about the plea deal.

Bench Lake Fire grows in size, more personnel arrive to help containment efforts
STANLEY, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Bench Lake Fire continued to grow in size over the weekend as hot and dry conditions continued to impact the fire and smoke in the region. According to Great Basin Team Four, the fire is now 2,427 acres and remains at only 8% contained as of Saturday morning. Around 395 personnel are currently working on fire prevention efforts.
