HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — A pedestrian was involved in a crash near Holland that shut down an intersection, deputies say.

It happened just after 2 p.m. at the intersection of Quincy Street and 140th Avenue in Holland Township, according to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash involved a vehicle/trailer and a pedestrian, according to deputies. The sheriff’s office is calling it a “personal injury crash,” although it’s not clear what led up to the crash or who was injured.

Quincy Street was closed at 140th Avenue for investigation and drivers were asked to avoid the area.

Holland Township Fire, AMR ambulance service and Aero Med also responded to the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
