Woman robbed while waiting for food; car stolen in Danville
DANVILLE, Va. (WDBJ) - The Danville Police Department is looking for the person who robbed a woman and stole her car. Around 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to the Pizza Hut restaurant in the 3000 block of Riverside Drive. A woman reported a male had taken her car and personal items at gunpoint while she was sitting in the parking lot.
Four juveniles charged in connection with Roanoke shooting

$361.6 million in new funding awarded to improve I-81
ROANOKE, Va. – The Commonwealth Transportation Board awarded more than $361 million, the largest contract to date, to widen I-81.
