Firefighter being treated for heat exhaustion following fire in Roanoke: Officials
ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) — The Roanoke FireEMS Department said one firefighter is being treated for heat exhaustion following a fire on Monday. At 7:49 p.m., crews were dispatched by the E-911 Center for an odor in the 2000 block of Lynn Avenue SW, officials said. Upon arrival, Engine 8 reported smoke showing from an apartment and upgraded to a working fire.
