Following the tragic and unexpected news of Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan passing away, audio has been released from the heartbreaking 911 call that his longtime girlfriend made upon finding him on the couch without a heartbeat.

As we previously shared earlier, Rich Homie Quan was confirmed deceased after fellow rapper Boosie Badazz took to social media claiming he was told of his passing. Boosie tweeted, “JUST GOT WORD @RichHomeQuan JUST OD!! JUST TALK TO QUAN THE OTHER DAY. #GoMissUN***a.” In a second tweet, he added, “JUST TALKED TO YOU BRA. #RIPQUAN. Never go forget yo smile n the way talked n of course yo music.”
According to the platinum-selling rapper’s family and rep for the Fulton County morgue, he died on Thursday (September 5) in his Atlanta home. Quan, born Dequantes Lamar, was 34 years old.

Upon their initial report, Rich Homie Quan revealed to TMZ that they were shattered and heartbroken by his sudden death. His official cause of death has not been reported, but the family is searching for answers.
Following their initial report, TMZ obtained the 911 call from Rich Homie Quan’s death, in which his longtime girlfriend, Amber Williams , told a dispatcher that she found him on the couch not breathing and without a heartbeat. She also revealed that when she tried to move him, he started foaming at the mouth. As the call began, Williams told the dispatcher her name, address, and which emergency unit she required. She frantically replied, “I need an ambulance.”

When detailing the reason for her call, Williams said, “My boyfriend he’s been sleep on the couch since this morning. Well, he never came to bed last night and has been sleep on the couch. I left him on the couch before I took my son to school this morning. I put a blanket over him and I just checked on him again, because he never got up. I don’t feel a heartbeat and I don’t see him breathing.”
She continued to share, “I turned him over and saw he kind of foamed at the mouth.” Rich Homie Quan’s cause of death still remains unclear, however, this new audio appears to shed a little light on the circumstances around his passing.
