Tifton Police Arrest Three Juveniles for Attempted Auto Theft
On July 17, 2024, at approximately 12:50 PM, Tifton Police Department officers were alerted to three male juveniles attempting to enter an automobile in the Newton Drive area. The officers subsequently located the juveniles at the intersection of 12th Street and Ferrylake Road. The suspects, all 13 years old, were arrested for Criminal Attempt to Commit Entering an Automobile.

The Diamond Kings Sports Academy (DKSA) program may be based out of Thomasville, Ga., but the DKSA Elite 15U team has a pair of players who proudly wear maroon and silver during the school year. Players Brett Harper and Myron Mobley are both of Madison, although the town’s ties with the DKSA program go beyond the players on the team. The team’s head coach is Michael Mobley, a long-time baseball coach in Madison.
