1989 La Salle College grad takes home 9 medals from Transplant Games, 2019 grad wins Temple Challenge Cup
La Salle College High School in Wyndmoor shared that two alumni recently recorded major athletic accomplishments. Mike McGettigan, Class of 1989 (pictured above and below), a four-year swimmer for the Explorers, won nine medals (five gold) at the Transplant Games in Birmingham, Alabama after undergoing a liver transplant in 2022.
