Money bag containing $6,600 reportedly stolen from Boardman car dealership parking lot
A money bag containing more than $6,600 in currency was stolen from the lot of a South Avenue used car dealership in Boardman shortly before 5 p.m. on July 31. The suspects, two black females and one black man who were supposedly looking at vehicles during the robbery fled in a white Chevrolet Trailblazer and were last seen heading westbound on Mathews Road. One of the car salesmen was reportedly holding the money deposit bag that carried the cash as he was trying to show the suspects vehicles. According to reports, he had set the money bag down on the front passenger seat of a white Ford Explorer and went inside the sales office to retrieve an item.

CLEVELAND — Lorain County authorities are searching for a suspect after a man was injured after being shot multiple times in Elyria Township Saturday afternoon. According to the Lorain County Sheriff's Office, officers responded to calls of a man shot just before 2:15 p.m. Police say the victim was shot near the intersection of Lake Avenue and Griswold Road and was able to drive himself to a gas station on North Ridge Road where he stopped for help.
