Rock legend says his voice is gone for good: No more shows in Cleveland or any other city
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Aerosmith says Steven Tyler’s voice has been permanently damaged by a vocal cord injury last year and the band will no longer tour. The iconic band behind hits like “Love in an Elevator” and “Livin’ on the Edge” posted a statement Friday announcing the cancellation of remaining dates on its tour and provided an update on Tyler’s voice. The canceled dates include a Sept. 29 concert scheduled for Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland.
Willoughby United Methodist to hold monthly food distribution
Willoughby United Methodist Church held its monthly food distribution on July 11, according to a release, and will have one coming up this month. There was a long line of cars waiting for the distribution through the parking lot and down Spaulding Street on July 11. Woman struck, killed crossing Route 224 in Poland
An 87-year-old Poland woman died on Sunday after being struck by a car as she was walking across Route 224. State Troopers say Rita Barbush was crossing the highway near Diana Drive when a Toyota Camry struck her at 9:30 p.m. Sunday. Barbush died at the scene of the crash.
