Brooksville's wastewater situation more dire than thought
BROOKSVILLE – The city’s wastewater crisis is pushing the system closer to its limits — and exceeding those limits could cost a lot. The problem of stormwater leaking into the system is causing the city to push toward its cap of 1.9 million gallons of wastewater per day, Public Works director Richard Weeks said at a July 15 meeting of City Council.
