HONOLULU (KHON2) — Time is running out to experience a Hawaii tradition that only comes around once a year! The 50th State Fair will be ending its 2024 entertainment with big wheels at the Aloha Stadium parking lot.

After a slight delay in travel, the All-Star monster truck crew is finally here, revved up and ready to roll. Wake Up 2Day’s Chris Latronic met with Scott Fernandez, CEO of Ek Fernandez Shows to talk about this amazing act and the special deals going into the final weekends.

“People will come here for the horsepower! The monster trucks are here and the show is gonna be excellent,” expressed Fernandez. “Make sure you get here early to get your seat for the show and don’t forget our special half-off deal for Sundays, where rides and games are half-price from noon to 5 p.m. And if you wanna try the slingshot ride, get your tickets early because they sell out fast!”

Chris was stoked to meet Tracis Grot and Kelsie Thurber, who both drive the featured monster trucks: Double Trouble and The First Responder.

They discussed the details of their beastly vehicles and even gave Chris a quick ride and a short preview of what will be seen during the live shows.

There will be nine total monster truck shows, beginning Friday night at 7:30 p.m.

    • Fridays: 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.
    • Saturdays: 5:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.
    • Sundays: 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
