Food2Go: Mikiya Wagyu Shabu House

HONOLULU (KHON2) — There’s a new All You Can Eat shabu-shabu experience by Ala Moana. Jasmine Chin and Jun Lin of Mikiya Wagyu Shabu House joined Wake Up 2Day with all the details.

Jasmine Chin shared the background of Mikiya and how their concept got started, “Mikiya is a branch off of the Chubby Group. Chubby Group is a premier US-based, Asian-focused F&B holding company. We offer various dining concepts such as X Pot, Chubby Cattle, Niku X, and Mikiya, catering to diverse customer tastes. With over 20 restaurants across the United States, our goal is to provide premium food to customers at an affordable price while ensuring an unforgettable dining experience.”

Mikiya Wagyu Shabu House is the first Chubby Group restaurant in Hawaii, located at 1221 Kapiolani Blvd.

With a spacious 3,000 sq. ft. establishment that offers a unique and delightful dining experience centered around Japanese Shabu, guests can enjoy indoor and outdoor seating arrangements with an upscale ambience.

Mikiya specializes in an all-you-can-eat shabu experience, featuring premium wagyu cuts from around the world, along with seafood and other special dishes.

There are three tiers to their pricing including the silver, gold, and diamond menu. For discounts, guests can purchase an annual membership.
