Black Diamond originated in the 1850s and ‘60s as a farming settlement. Texarkana doctor urges fireworks safety ahead of Fourth of July holiday
TEXARKANA, Texas - As the Fourth of July draws closer, it's important to take safety precautions when enjoying fireworks to avoid any injuries. A Texarkana doctor says fireworks can be fun, but dangerous. Last year, there were about 10,000 people nationwide rushed to the emergency department for fireworks injuries. Of those, eight died.
