Local Olympian: ‘It’s been a dream of mine ever since I touched that medal’
Early Saturday morning in Paris, Benton’s Sydney Conley Elliott was still on Cloud 9 after her first day as an official member of the United States Olympic Team. Less than 24 hours before, Elliott was informed by U.S. Equestrian that she – and her horse, QC Diamantaire -- would be moved into the reserve (alternate) position on the United States Eventing Team after an injury to Will Coleman’s horse forced a withdrawal.
