Persons interested in improvements to nearby Interstate 44 may want to attend a public meeting slated for July 18 at Rolla.

It is 5 to 7 p.m. at the Rolla City Hall, 901 N. Elm St.

During summer 2024, the Missouri Department of Transportation and its consultants (Hg Consult – West Consultant Study Team, and Garver – East Consultant Study Team) will host stakeholder meetings along the I-44 corridor.

The purpose is to provide the public the opportunity to provide comment and learn about the environmental study of more than 250 miles of the I-44 corridor from the Oklahoma state line to the Franklin County/St. Louis County line. This study is a critical step to preparing for future projects on I-44, and gathering input will ensure it reflects the identified needs of users.
