Houston Police: Officers investigate sex offender registration violation

Between June 10 and June 16, the Houston Police Department answered 190 calls for service and initiated 25 traffic stops resulting in 12 citations and 18 warnings.
On June 10, officers responded to the 200 block of East Chestnut for a residential burglary. It was determined that nothing was taken from the residence after the homeowner’s dog chased the suspect away.
On June 10, officers cited Pedro Ramirez-Cruz, 33, of West Plains, for operating a motor vehicle without a valid operator’s license.
On June 10, officers investigated a male residing in the area for approximately a month without fulfilling his sex offender registry requirements. The male is currently incarcerated in the Texas County Jail on unrelated charges and a report was sent to the Texas County Prosecutor for formal charging of the sex offender registration violation.
On June 11, officers investigated a report of a peace disturbance at Walmart. Upon conclusion of the investigation, officers cited Kristina M. Hatch, 39, of Solo, and Amy E. Ivy, 33, of Houston, for public peace disturbance.
On June 11, officers cited Amy E. Ivy, 33, of Houston, for stealing under $750 (shoplifting) regarding a theft at Walmart.
On June 12, officers arrested Jason R. Hall, 42, of Houston, on an active Texas County warrant per charge Driving While Revoked. Hall was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was incarcerated after being unable to post the $3,000 cash-only bond.
On June 12, officers cited Chester L. Risco, 58, of Houston, for Driving While Suspended.
On June 12, officers arrested Angela Edwards, 44, of Licking, on an active Texas County warrant per charges delivery or possession of a controlled substance at county/private jail/corrections center, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, operate vehicle on highway without a valid license-2 nd offense, no insurance and lienholder failed to surrender title of reconstructed vehicle to DOR. Edwards was transported to the Texas County Jail and was incarcerated after being unable to post the $50,000 bond.
On June 13, officers arrested James Leyrer, 40, of Houston, on an active Texas County warrant per charge assault 4th degree-special victim. Leyrer was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was incarcerated due to the warrant having no bond.
On June 14, officers were dispatched to Casey’s General Store for a reported theft. Upon further investigation, a juvenile suspect was identified. A report will be forwarded to the Texas County Juvenile Office for their review and formal charges.
On June 16, officers cited Kaila E. Swank, 18, of Mountain Grove, for minor in possession of alcohol-while operating a motor vehicle. Officers also cited Kadyn W. Hall, 18, of Cabool, and Kali L. Simpson, 18, of Mountain Grove, for minor in possession of alcohol.
