Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud is doing whatever it takes to make sure it works out with Stefon Diggs

The Houston Texans took a risk this offseason. They went and traded for one of the best wide receivers in the league . That's not the gamble. The gamble was that he has had a reputation for being a wide receiver that gets disgruntled easily. Now, whether that is true or just a false narrative, I'm not sure, but, it is a narrative that is out there.

For the Texans, they wanted to use the huge advantage they have of C.J. Stroud, a top-five quarterback in the league, being on a rookie deal. So, they went and grabbed some big-time names like wide receiver Stefon Diggs, and Danielle Hunter. They want to take that next step and become Super Bowl contenders , and they can do that.

So, Stroud, who I'm sure has heard all the noise about his newest weapon in Stefon Diggs, is doing whatever he can to make sure it works out. So much so, he met up with Diggs in France to throw with him, when Diggs was already there, and Stroud was in Morocco.

The two had a good session together, from what we could see on Instagram. Stroud is going out of his way to make sure he builds that chemistry with Stefon Diggs, which is what he will need for this upcoming season.

It's not the fact that Stroud needs to get chemistry in because he's a new weapon. Stroud will have plenty of weapons to choose from in 2024, and that is where the chemistry part comes in.

From everything we have heard, Diggs could be a player that gets upset when he doesn't get his fair share of targets, or when he doesn't get as involved in the offense as he thinks he should be.

You don't want a guy getting mad and ruining what the team has built, and Stroud is doing his best to make sure nothing bad will happen in 2024.
