    Arian Foster Had Five Heartbreaking Words After Learning Jacoby Jones News

    Former Houston Texans star Arian Foster was among those who mourned the tragic death of Jacoby Jones.

    On Sunday, news broke that Jones died in his sleep at the age of 40. The exact cause of his death has yet to be released. His family announced that he died "peacefully."

    Jones was known for his larger-than-life personality, which endeared him to his teammates and coaches throughout his nine-year NFL career.

    Foster and Jones were teammates from 2009 to 2011. Foster had a succinct yet heartbreaking message upon learning of Jones' passing.

    "s--t hurts. love you homie," said Foster in a post on X.

    Foster was one of a handful of NFL personalities that expressed their sadness over the news.

    Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh had a heartfelt post on Jones' passing. So did Hall of Famer Ray Lewis and future Hall of Famer JJ Watt .

    Jones spent a combined eight seasons playing for the Texans and Ravens. In his final season in 2015, Jones split time between the Pittsburgh Steelers and San Diego Chargers.
