The battle for the AFC South is going to be an absolute war in 2024 .

The Houston Texans are considered the early favorites, but I wouldn't be shocked if any of the four teams walked away with the AFC crown.

But don't just take my word for it; here is ESPN's Texans reporter DJ Bien-Aime sharing why he isn't picking the Texans to win the AFC South in 2024.

Bien-Aimeds shared that he is picking the Indianapolis Colts to win the AFC South in 2024 on The Mina Kimes show on ESPN. Here was his explanation.

"I think the Colts end up winning the division. One of my biggest thing is the Texans schedule scares me. I like their (Colts) schedule, I like the pieces they have; I think if AR stays healthy, he will take a massive step."

I shared my prediction for the rankings in the AFC South earlier this offseason. I also picked the Colts to win the division with 11 wins, the Texans, and the Jacksonville Jaguars to win 10 games.

The play at QB is the most important aspect of every NFL team, and in the AFC South, all four teams are led by young QBs who many believe their best football is in front of them, in CJ Stroud, Anthony Richardson, Trevor Lawerence, and Will Levis.

Predictions are a fun part of the offseason, but we are very close to getting to see how it all actually plays out, with the Colts set to report for Training Camp on July 24 to get off their 2024 season. All eyes are on Anthony Richardson and the Colts' offense as they attempt to show the world they have a real horse in the race for the AFC South crown (no pun intended).
