Former Destiny’s Child member LeToya Luckett has officially entered a new chapter in her life as a happily married woman.

The 43-year-old singer wed entrepreneur Taleo Coles in a luxurious ceremony at Le Tesserae in Houston, Texas, on July 27.

The couple’s love story began over two years ago when they were introduced by a mutual friend. Their relationship blossomed, leading to a romantic proposal in Sedona, Arizona, on March 10.

Luckett, known for her powerful vocals and acting talents, expressed her joy and gratitude for finding a partner who loves her and her children deeply.

“Marriage was something we both wanted,” Luckett shared with People. “It means everything to have a partner who loves me and my kids deeply. This love feels like rest.”

The star-studded wedding was attended by 200 guests, including notable figures such as Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, Toya Johnson, and rapper Bun B. Guests were treated to a special surprise as they departed: Bun B’s famous Trill Burgers.

Initially, the couple planned a more intimate gathering of 70 guests. However, Luckett revealed:

“We started out with a guest count of 70 and that changed once we decided to wed in my hometown of Houston. We also knew with Taleo being the first grandchild of his family to get married, it would be tough to keep it at that number. While increasing the number, we still wanted it to feel intimate and cozy and I think we accomplished that with the layout and decor.”

The evening’s entertainment featured Grammy-winning producer Bryan Michael Cox and DJ E Clazz, who kept the energy high.

The newlyweds shared their first dance to the classic duet “If This World Were Mine” by Luther Vandross and Cheryl Lynn.

Luckett also took to Instagram to celebrate her union, posting a heartfelt message to her new husband.
