Driver seriously injured after Jeep runs off rural Missouri highway
HUGHESVILLE, Mo. (KCTV) - One man was seriously injured during a single-vehicle collision on a rural Missouri highway over the weekend. The Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that just before 12:55 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, emergency crews were called to the area of Highway H and Elliott Rd., south of Hughesville, with reports of a single-vehicle collision.
Warrensburg Woman Injured in Early Sunday Morning Wreck
A Warrensburg woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred early Sunday morning in Johnson County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2011 Chrysler 300, driven by 26-year-old Nathan C. Hargett of Warrensburg, was on SW 400 Road, west of Missouri 13 around 1 a.m., when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, through a ditch and struck a culvert. The Chrysler then returned to the roadway where it came to rest.

Liberty Fire Department reports Line of Duty Death of firefighter and paramedic
LIBERTY, Mo. (KCTV) - A firefighter and paramedic who “served the Liberty community with honor, bravery and integrity for 20 years” will soon be laid to rest. In a statement, the City of Liberty shared that after a “short but fierce battle with cancer,” firefighter and paramedic Steve Sanneman died at home early on Sunday, July 7.
