Weather Service says expect rain throughout Tuesday; Highs in the 80s
Expect rain chances to continue through Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in Little Rock. The highest rain chances will be in the southeast. Rainfall through Friday will consist of widespread values of a half inch to 1 inch of rainfall between Monday afternoon and Friday night. A few locations will see a tad less than that, but a few locations could see a bit more with as much as 1 to 2+ inches across southern Arkansas. Lower values will typically be seen across the northwest, whereas the highest rainfall totals will be common across southern Arkansas.
Man accused of robbing victims at gunpoint
JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Police arrested a Jonesboro man after they said he robbed several victims at gunpoint. On Monday, July 22, Craighead County District Judge Tommy Fowler found probable cause to charge 27-year-old Alvin Shakur Moore with felony robbery and felony theft by receiving a firearm less than $2,500.
