Kelly Ortberg, Former CEO of Rockwell Collins, now Collins Aerospace, an RTX Company, has been named CEO of Boeing. The Dubuque, Iowa native graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in mechanical engineering. Ortberg held a series of top positions at avionics manufacturer at Rockwell Collins, serving as CEO for five years. At Rockwell Collins, Ortberg worked to reimagine avionics systems, making it possible to extend the systems to different jets and airlines to improve the company’s return on investment.
