With the dam in Leavittsburg set to be removed in 2025, Warren Township Trustees are trying to find more options to save it. They pitched in funds along with the Trumbull County Commissioners to hire a company to study the dam and lay out the pros and cons from both sides.
Local couple invests in Downtown Warren promoting tourism
Keith and Jill Gunther are real estate developers who have flipped many residential properties in the Valley and The Downtown Getaway is their latest project. This newly renovated 2000 square foot flat in the Boyle Building, was built in 1931 by Attorney Boyle for his law offices in Downtown Warren. It was once office space but now offers 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, and a recreational space with a pool table.
Local hospital’s 100th anniversary marked by burying of time capsule
The sisters visited the hospital Tuesday to join in on the festivities. It included the unveiling of items, including newspaper articles and other memorabilia found in a 1980s time capsule discovered during St. Joseph Riverside Hospital's demolition in 2022.
