Ohio Ice Cream Trail features 54 stops including several in Dayton region
It’s National Ice Cream Month and TourismOhio has relaunched its Ice Cream Trail highlighting more than 50 stops throughout the state. “The Ohio Ice Cream Trail is a fun and unique way to explore the state and support our communities,” said Lydia Mihalik, director of the Ohio Department of Development which oversees the TourismOhio office. “The Trail truly shows that we’re the heart of it all, bringing together our state’s rich agricultural heritage, culinary culture, manufacturing innovation, and support for small businesses.”

There are several local cities and townships hosting parades and festivals this week in honor of Independence Day. Here are some of those events:. Light Up Lebanon: A parade in the downtown area kicks off Lebanon’s Independence Day celebration at 4 p.m. July 3. It is following by events from 6-10 p.m. at Colonial Park West.
