    Winning $138 million Powerball ticket sold in Miami Valley

    DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — One lucky Miami Valley resident scored big in a recent Powerball drawing.

    A jackpot-winning ticket was sold in Huber Heights, according to the Ohio Lottery. The Powerball jackpot totaled $138,000,000 in the July 3 drawing.

    The lucky winner matched all five numbers plus Powerball on an auto-pick ticket. The winning ticket was purchased at the Walmart Supercenter located at 7680 Brandt Pike in Huber Heights.

    The winning numbers were 2-26-33-55-57 and the red Powerball number was 22. The Powerplay was 2X.

    Ohio Lottery says the winner has not yet claimed their prize. They will have the option to take the $138 million in an annuity or take the cash option prize of $65.8 million.
