Man electrocuted while trimming trees in Pasco, deputies say

A man was electrocuted Thursday while trimming trees in Hudson, deputies said.

Deputies were investigating the man’s death near Maria Drive and Sea Ranch Drive, according to a news release issued Thursday evening by the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident caused a power outage in the area. Power had been restored by Friday morning, according to an outage map from the Withlacoochee River Electric Company.

The sheriff’s office has not released the man’s name, age or where he lived.
