Woman sentenced to prison for causing crash that killed two in south Toledo
TOLEDO, Ohio — A woman was sentenced to prison Thursday after being convicted in a crash that killed two people and injured a third in late February. Jasmine Pitts, 34, was sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty on July 2 to two counts of involuntary manslaughter, one count of felonious assault and one count of failure to stop after an accident. Under Reagan Tokes Law, Pitts could serve a maximum of 35.5 years if she violates rules in prison.
