Charlotte Car Theft Leads to Multicounty Chase, Suspects Arrested in Caldwell County
A multicounty car chase originating in Charlotte ended with the arrest of two individuals in Caldwell County early Wednesday morning. The high-speed pursuit, involving a vehicle reported stolen, spanned over several counties before coming to a close in Granite Falls. QCNews reported that the chase began at approximately 1:05 a.m. and the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office deployed spike strips to halt the suspect vehicle twenty minutes later.
