UFC Fighter Vows to Prove Flat Earth Is Real and Gravity Isn't

It takes a rare breed of human to willingly step inside a metal cage and fight.

Even rarer, to choose it as a career path.

Amongst all the wacky characters the UFC has spotlighted over the years, Bryce Mitchell stands near the top. The 28-year-old proud Arkansas Native holds an impressive 16-1 MMA record. And, perhaps more impressive is his passion when sharing his unique beliefs.

On an episode of the Believe You Me Podcast, Bryce educated hosts Anthony Smith and Michael Bisping on many topics, including:

• Gravity being a myth
• The curvature of the Earth
• An icewall existing in Antarctica (that's illegal to visit)
• The government's use of farming pesticides to control the American public

Although Michael pushed back on many of Bryce's beliefs, calling them "batshit crazy", the trio had a lighthearted debate. But, after nearly an hour of religious and conspiratory preaching from Bryce, they decided to schedule a second podcast, to carry on the conversation.

Before transitioning into promotion for Bryce's upcoming fight, (which he won, defeating Dan Ige via unanimous decision), Bryce vowed to prove himself with "demonstrations".

"If we could ever do an in-studio interview, where I could sit down with you guys and show you demonstrations, I would literally prove in about an hour the Earth is flat. You would have no counterargument because I would be showing you demonstrations."

Michael agreed to the in-studio interview, with one caveat -- bringing in an expert on the topic to debate on his behalf. Bryce embraced the challenge, promising to "make your expert look like an idiot."
