Every week, it seems Elon Musk finds himself in a new online feud. And this time, the 52-year-old billionaire has set his sights on Paris Hilton.

It all began when Elon publicly criticized Paris' recent advertising campaign for her cookware line, calling it "unconvincing".

And, going on to doubt Hilton's cooking skills...

On Sunday Morning, Elon Took To X

This past Sunday (December 3rd, 2023) at approximately 7 AM, Elon took to X to respond to the following post:

In the post (seen above), one user poked fun at the speculative reason why Paris Hilton stopped advertising on X, showing Paris in a clearly photoshopped shirt reading "Stop Being Poor", and the caption,

"She stopped advertising on X because the content is too controversial."

As the top comment under this post, Elon decided to add his two cents, writing,

"The ad campaign wasn’t super convincing tbh. I don’t think Paris cooks a lot."

And, of course, as is the case with anything Elon Tweets, internet sleuths began looking into why Elon would take shots at Paris Hilton.

Paris Was One of the Few Advertisers During Elon's Recent Controversy.

Recently, Several major advertisers, including Airbnb, Netflix, and Microsoft, withdrew their advertising from X, formerly Twitter, after Elon reportedly supported an antisemitic conspiracy theory.

At the time, the X was projected to lose up to $75 million in ad revenue as brands paused or considered pulling their campaigns.

And, while Paris was one of the few advertisers who stuck with X despite public uproar, the partnership was shortlived.

Paris decided to pull out of her advertising campaign on X for her all-pink kitchenware line coming as a sequel to her 2021 Netflix show, "Cooking with Paris".

Paris is yet to respond to Elon's comments. But, Elon's criticism likely stems from his ongoing battle with advertisers.

Musk recently addressed his stance on advertisers pulling out from X, at the New York Times DealBook Summit in New York (first reported by CNN).

“I don’t want them to advertise...If someone is going to blackmail me with advertising or money go f—k yourself. Go. F—k. Yourself,” he said. “Is that clear? Hey [Disney CEO] Bob [Iger], if you’re in the audience, that’s how I feel.”
