On Tuesday, Drake was trending on X, formerly Twitter, with social media users writing about an NSFW "leaked video" allegedly involving the "Worst Behaviour" rapper.

The alleged scandal follows a recent controversy where nude A.I. images of Taylor Swift were also distributed on X, amassing millions of views before being taken down.

The Alleged Leaked Video and Drake's Response

In an attempt to discover whether the explicit video was deepfake or authentic, popular online streamer Adin Ross, sent Drake a voice note playfully telling him he's "blessed" in more than one way.

The 37-year-old Canadian rapper responded with a stream of "eight laughing emojis" and joked,

"This might be my next album intro."

Although Drake has not directly addressed the rumours as of yet, he does seem unbothered by the attention, posting business as usual to his Instagram:

    Taylor Swift's Similar Controversy

Taylor Swift made headlines earlier this week after 4Chan users flooded the internet with explicit A.I. images of the 4-time Grammy winner.

The posts quickly amassed 27+ million views and 260K+ likes (in 19 hours) on Twitter/X before being removed. Searches of the 34-year-old music icon were blocked and accounts sharing the images were temporarily suspended.

Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, Twitter/X's Head of Business Operations, Joe Benarroch, said the "temporary action" was used “with an abundance of caution” to “prioritize safety on this issue”.

Both incidents involve A-list celebrities and the unauthorized circulation of explicit material. However, it remains unclear whether the alleged Drake video is a deepfake or if it is authentic.

    Twitter/X's Response

The leaked video featuring Drake has ignited a flurry of speculation among social media users. The controversial footage has prompted many to share their reactions and theories regarding its authenticity.

Twitter/X's official response is that the content is “strictly prohibited” and, despite being an advocate of free speech, has a “zero-tolerance policy” towards it.
