Muncy, Pa. — A person’s failure to disclose a previous drug conviction might prove costly after a felony charge was issued by a local magistrate judge.

Patrick Robert Ranck, 43, of Hughesville allegedly checked “no” to a question asking if he had previously been convicted of a felony. An investigation by State Police uncovered that was inaccurate, according to a complaint.

Investigators said Ranck was convicted of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in August of 2008.

Ranck is being charged with false written statement to buy a firearm and statement under penalty of law. No bail is listed for Ranck.
