4-star Alabama RB commit still considering Georgia
Four-star running back recruit Anthony Rogers is planning to visit the Georgia Bulldogs again. Rogers, who has been committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide since June 2023, visited Georgia this spring. “I am still committed to Alabama,” said Rogers in a recent interview with Rivals. “I am just looking at other schools to make sure I am the right fit for my future.” Rogers plays high school football for Carver High School in Montgomery, Alabama. He has previously played for IMG Academy and Pike Road High School (Alabama). Rogers is the fourth-best running back in the class of 2025, per 247Sports. The 5-foot-8, 190-pound running back is the No. 118 recruit in the country and the No. 11 player in Alabama. Rogers runs track and plays basketball. The Carver star running back has elite speed that should serve him well at the next level. Rogers is a shifty runner who is very elusive. Georgia football has 17 commitments in the class of 2025, including one from three-star Cedar Grove running back Bo Walker. Georgia typically signs two running backs per cycle, so the Bulldogs are likely looking to add another one to their haul in the 2025 cycle.

He is the eighth ranked cornerback in the country and the second ranked player in Virginia. Earls has starred in both football and track and field. He has played as a two-way player, recording 25 tackles and three interceptions a season ago on the defensive side to go along with 715 yards and eight touchdowns as a receiver while also working as a return specialist. Georgia football scholarship breakdown after Jahzare Jackson addition
Here is how the 2024 scholarship roster looks for the Dawgs in terms of athletes on scholarship. With the unique addition of Jahzare Jackson, the Georgia Bulldogs signed 29 players in the 2024 class and added nine players via the transfer portal. By our best calculations, 28 signatures and nine transfer portal additions would put Georgia at 88 scholarship players on the 2024 roster, but that number is likely to be 85 on scholarship in year one right now, with two delayed until 2025 and at least one roster addition coming in as a first-year walk-on. Unlike in 2021, seniors who decide to take advantage of the COVID-19 waiver for a super senior season will count toward the 85 scholarship limit. That number does not need to be met until fall camp, so there is plenty of time for additional attrition.
