Man arrested for hitting 9-year-old girl with SUV and dragging her for half a mile
Late Monday night, an SUV collided with a family in Dayton, resulting in a 9-year-old girl being hospitalized. According to Sgt. Gordon Cairns, a family crossing the street on a crosswalk at Wayne Avenue and Clover Street was hit by a vehicle making a left-hand turn around 9:20 p.m. The incident was reported on News Center 7 at 5:00, and Dayton police and medics were immediately called to the scene.

HARDIN COUNTY — UPDATE: Johnston has been found and is with her family. Hardin County Sheriff's Office is asking the community to help find a missing woman. Kristena Leander Johnston, 44, is around 5 feet 4 inches and weighs approximately 140 to 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark-colored t-shirt and blue jeans.
