Minnehaha County Fatal ATV Crash
A Sunday evening ATV crash claimed the life of one person and severely injured another near Garretson. The South Dakota Department of Public Safety reported a Polaris ATV was traveling north on a gravel road shortly after 7pm, lost control and entered the ditch. The vehicle rolled, ejecting both occupants. A 16-year-old female occupant sustained fatal injuries and a 30-year-old male occupant was transported to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. Neither were using their seatbelts. Determination of who was driving is under investigation.

According to court documents, a South Dakota resident tipped off the FBI after overhearing Amy Rebekah Willis of Sioux Falls bragging about being inside the U.S. Capitol building on January 6th, 2021. The conversation took place inside Willis’s herbalist retail sales company in Sioux Falls, which she has owned since 2011.
