Huntington Beach city council will consider on Tuesday whether to put a measure on the November ballot to require residents to vote on any zoning or land use change that could negatively impact the environment. A popular Fourth of July fireworks show in Long Beach was canceled and instead set to take place on Labor Day after a dispute over paperwork.
