    Power shut off in Huntington, Oregon as Durkee Fire approaches

    A Facebook announcement from the City of Huntington on Tuesday, July 23 at 9:04 am explains that the city would have its power lines disabled to keep fire personnel safe while working to suppress the approaching Durkee Fire.

    Currently around 550 customers are impacted by the outage in the city according to the Idaho Power outage map . Idaho Power is still working to determine when power could be restored to the area.

    The city of Huntington is reminding residents that the evacuation level for the city is still at level 3.
