A Huntington Station man who pleaded guilty in May to stabbing his co-worker to death is scheduled to be sentenced Wednesday.

He pleaded guilty before Supreme Court Justice John B. Collins to Manslaughter in the First Degree, and Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, both Class B violent felonies, in the killing of Roque Cisneros, 58, in February 2023.

Authorities said the men were seen sitting together in an SUV outside Cisneros’ home. When the SUV suddenly drove off, Cisneros’ wife, Vilma Campos,  followed them in her car to Oakwood Road where Cordova had stopped and retrieved a knife from the trunk of the SUV and began stabbing Cisneros to death. When Campos tried to stop him, he slashed and stabbed her as well. Passersby intervened and held Cordova until police arrived.

Supreme Court Justice John B. Collins will pronounce sentence.
