    UPDATE: Missing East Texas woman found, DPS says

    UPDATE: According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Capps has been found.


    ANGELINA COUNTY, Texas ( KETK ) – A woman being treated for dementia may be lost in East Texas and authorities are asking for help finding her.

    The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a brownish-gold Ford 2012 Expedition SUV with a Texas license plate DJ7Y526. They said the vehicle belongs to Paula Capps and was last seen around 3 p.m. in Huntington.

    Capps is described as 5 foot 4 inches, 140 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing glasses, a dark colored t-shirt, gray shorts and a wedding band. DPS issued a CLEAR Alert , for a missing and possibly endangered adult, at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.

    Anyone who sees her vehicle is asked to call 911 or the ACSO at 936-639-8722 or 936-634-3331 and maintain visual contact until an officer arrives.
