HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Police say a man has been arrested after barricading himself inside a home on Monday morning.

The incident happened in the 2600 block of Landsdale Drive.

According to the Huntsville Police Department (HPD), a woman called officers on Sunday night around 11 p.m. reporting a man had pointed a gun at her.

HPD says they received multiple tips regarding where the man could be located and searched for him throughout the night.

Officers found 20-year-old Randy Peralta Cruz hiding under a home before he was taken into custody. He was charged with prowling, and HPD says more charges are possible.

The operation shut down Sparkman Drive from Shady Lane to Bonnieview Drive for some time, but all roads are back open.
