Summer heat returns this week
Tuesday: We’re finally starting to dry out today with only a few afternoon storms in the forecast, so many of us will remain dry. High temperatures will make a run for the middle 90s with heat index values as hot as 105-110°. A Heat Advisory is in place for much of central and western Alabama today.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - After a couple weeks of wetter, less hot weather, Summer is returning with a vengeance this week. Afternoon temperatures will go back above normal most of the second half of the work week, with most places heating into the mid 90s each day. Overwhelming humidity will push the heat index into the 103-108 degree range each afternoon and rain will be hard to come by.
