Blake Sims Almost Got Pulled From His First SEC Start in Which He Threw for 445 Yards Because His Wristband Was Wrong and Nick Saban Thought He Was Going Rogue
Blake Sims's one season of college football glory was almost halted before it even started because of a very unfortunate clerical error on someone's part. I honestly can't believe something like this was able to happen at Alabama under Nick Saban's watch. It sounds like whoever was responsible for the miscommunication between the call sheets and wristbands was never discovered, but I'd guess it's more likely that person actually was found out and then mysteriously disappeared. You don't have a fuck up like that and have Saban just never find out who was responsible for it.
Online reviews of Nick's in the Sticks pulled after viral video alleging racist language
Waves of resentment over the viral video from Nick's Original Filet House (aka Nick's in the Sticks) exploded into review bombs that shuttered Nick's-related pages on at least two major crowd-source review sites. Alabama vs Georgia in Bryant-Denny is ESPN’s Game of the Year
ESPN’s Bill Connelly released his top five SEC games of the regular season over the weekend, and it’s no surprise that Alabama was prevalent throughout his list. This top five was largely generated by each team's SP+ ranking, meaning the games weren't necessarily handpicked by Connelly. The presumably...
